Florence Travel - A Great Idea!

Guglielmo Vallecoccia: As the capital city within the Tuscany region of Italy, there’s no denying that the city of Florence has a lot to offer - and the increase of Florence travel is certainly attests to this. As one of my favorite cities in Italy, I’ve visited this wonderful location on several occasions - and it’s blown me away every time. In this post, I’m going to share some of the reasons why I love this city so much.
To begin with, Florence has a rich and cultured history, thanks to its status as one of the primary medieval trading locations in all of Europe. This has birthed some incredible culture, such as being the birthplace of the Renaissance. In fact, it’s often been referred to as ‘the Athens’ the in Middle Age!

These days, the city still boasts a variety of wonderful features - such as incredible art galleries, museums, restaurants, shopping centers and more. Overall, this is one of the best cities that Italy has to offer - and you could easily spend several weeks here and still leave wanting more.
In particular, there's a strong focus on fashion here - and it’s considered one of the fashion capitals in the world - and it’s a wonderful place to shop! So if you’re planning a Florence travel trip, then you’re making a great decision.
